Storyline: Home to home westward
And so, our RTW trip has begun. All booked, checked and crosschecked.
13 is the number of the airplanes we will be on.
30 is the number of accommodations we are staying in, including the Ghan (a train that will take us from Adelaide on the south coast of Australia through the desolate outback to Darwin on the north coast).
10 is the number of busses we’ll be taking, 7 of which are booked.
7 are the trains we’ll be taking. We wish we could take more, however some did not fit our itinerary and some we were advised against for security reasons.
96 are the days we’ll be on the road, if all goes to plan.
And… off we go.
