Impromptu dinner at the Luminarium in Toronto

With our Scandinavia travels coming up shortly and a few videos from our winter travels still in the pipeline, we make an impromptu decision to experience a delightful dinner event at the Luminarium in Toronto’s Distillery District. The dinner, hosted by the Toronto Star newspaper, charts the development of a sibling relationship from early calmness through feud, reconciliation and forgiveness. Michelin-starred Enigma chef Quinton Bennett provides the meal with wine pairings from The Star’s wine columnist Carolyn Evans Hammond. They introduce each course, describing how the food and wine represent the Feud and Forgiveness story. The Luminarium’s technology is put to good use, illustrating the story with its full-wall and floor video and its immersive sound system. The excellent food and wine contributed to the conversations which flowed freely through the evening. We certainly enjoyed it.
